Despite the inability to physically associate at this time, we have the opportunity to celebrate cooperation, solidarity and altruistic fellowship by reaching out to one another and offering support, comfort and care. We are encouraged now to overcome this global adversity by practicing health and safety measures and sharing encouragement. Helping those who are isolated, reaching out to the disadvantaged, donating or volunteering or just showing concern for neighbours and the community allows our power of unification to shine at its fullest.
Astrologically, April highlights global connection, greater cooperation and further humanitarian efforts. With Mars now joining Saturn in Aquarius, we’ll tap into a strong reserve of determination and sustained effort for finding solutions that benefit our global community. The rare alignment of the planet ruling exuberance and the planet representing metamorphosis is exact in Capricorn now, but will continue to be felt for the rest of the year. This can represent a true reality check for us as the focus will be on results, factual truths and down-to-earth practicality. This is a cycle of ambition, responsibility, duty and serious work — especially regarding those in power. As Capricorn is an Earth sign, we’ll be focusing on better ways to organize our lives while embracing greater security, stability and structure. There will be a need to concentrate on greater growth, working on long term goals and improving the rules we live by. The overall theme of this cycle is uncovering the misuse of power, greed and corruption to bring reform and grow our overall progress. It represents a major time of rediscovery, review and reconsideration that brings transformation to our society, government, world order and Mother Earth. It also pushes us to think about the changes we want to make to our belief structures and our power as individuals and as a whole. (Pluto will be Retrograde until 4 October 2020. Pluto will be in the sign of Capricorn until 24 March 2023).
* 28 April (27th in U.S.A): Mercury goes into Taurus — Focus on Fortunate Foundations! With the Planet ruling our intellect, communications and interactions in the sign emphasizing down-to-earth energy, we’ll be expressing ourselves in deliberate and sensuous ways.
